Exciting news for fans of the legal comedy scene! Guess who’s snagging more screen time on NBC’s “Night Court” revival? Yup, that’s right – it’s Nyambi Nyambi!
Word on the street (okay, it’s actually from Variety) is that Nyambi, who popped up as a guest star in the second season, is now stepping up as a series regular. Pretty cool, right? You can catch him doing his thing regularly starting February 6.
So who’s Nyambi in the show? He plays Wyatt Shaw, the court clerk who wields sarcasm like a pro. He’s seen his fair share of drama and as a dad who’s just finalizing his divorce, he’s all about keeping his two girls away from the craziness he’s known.
You might know Nyambi from his other gigs on “The Good Fight” or “Mike & Molly”, among others. He’s not just a TV guy, though – movies, animation, even the stage – he’s done it all. Plus, he’s all about giving back, helping up-and-coming African artists make their mark.
Anyone else excited to see the dynamics at “Night Court” with Nyambi joining the lineup? With Melissa Rauch as the judge, John Larroquette back in his OG role, and a solid supporting cast, things are going to be interesting.
Let’s not forget the brains behind the revival. Dan Rubin’s at the helm, teaming up with the Rauchs, Larroquette, and a few other creative minds. Warner Bros. Television is in on the action, too, alongside After January Productions and Universal Television.
For all of you who’ve been following “Night Court”, mark your calendars and settle in for some clever courtroom banter. And for everyone else – maybe it’s time to see what the fuss is about!
