This is based on a debut trailer from Nintendo that showed some differences between the Switch and Wii U versions. One video claimed that Elma’s costume was censored in the Switch version. However, this is a misunderstanding.

The Switch footage shows Elma in her default costume, which is the same as her first appearance in the Wii U game. There is also discussion about the fact that the Switch version is based on the Western release of the original game. The Japanese version had some character customization options that were changed for the Western release.
This includes a slider to change the female protagonist’s breast size and costume changes for the character Lin. Since the new version is based on the Western release, these changes will likely still be present. However, they do not impact the overall gameplay or story.
