What’s your name, what’s your sign? I have an iPhone app for that

Selling people horoscopes for $2 might be a tough go, but Astrology Compass’ presentation and content might just make it worth it.

It would be tough to match the information the Astrology Compass packs. Users can view their daily horoscope, of course, but you also have access to tomorrow’s horoscope, weekly and monthly horoscopes, as well as outlooks for your love, money, and career. There is also an added teen-specific horoscope.

It’s funny to think you’d need to spend more than a minute viewing a horoscope app, but you can certainly lose track of time viewing the Astrology Compass’ many options.

The lifestyle app offers a nice change of pace visually as well. Instead of offering a list of signs and then providing your daily horoscope for the corresponding sign, the Astrology Compass app lets you spin two wheels, one with the astrological name, and the other with the various horoscopes contained within.

While that’s ultimately only cosmetic, it’s always great to see a developer coming up with a unique visual way to present information. Whether or not this app is actually worth $2 probably depends on how much faith you put into astrology. But if you are interested at all, Astrology Compass is an app to look at.
