The Mark On Call interior designer app is entirely handy and quite fantastic for anyone putting together a room (or several) and willing to put in all the information.
Because there are multiple components to any room, the app is multidimensional. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the Mark On Call app is that within every screen there is help to make sure you’re not lost beyond belief.
There are tutorial and video links, quick how-tos and question marks strategically placed that, when tapped, will guide you on how to use the screen.
Build a floor plan, select flooring options (choose from the provided wheel of textures and colors, or take a picture with your iPhone) and start furnishing your room. For each item, you can enter exact dimensions, the vendor, the price and more.
Click to add any item on the floor plan to the in-app shopping list (which you can set a budget for). Store your fabric samples, try new colors, scale items (what would a bigger bed look like?) and read the interior design tips.
The folks creating the Mark On Call app focused on details and hit a home run.
One caveat: The app is time-consuming because there’s so much to enter. But once that’s done, the app is incredibly useful and detail-oriented.
