Animalizer allows the user put his face on an animal’s body. This fun, yet absurd, app is sure to please some people, particularly preschoolers.
The Animalizer Lite version offers pictures of animals ranging from monkeys to a cute little fluffy rabbit. The paid version of Animalizer, for 99 cents, offers a wide array of pictures for your head-swapping pleasure – minus the annoying banner at the bottom of the app’s screen.
All you have to do is select an animal picture from the options. Then pick a photo with your face from your photo album on the iPhone or Touch. You go back to the app where there’s a hole cut out of the animal’s face. Drag your photo over the hole, and save your work. You can add a funny caption for a little more flavor.
This app is pointless fun. Animalizer didn’t add much value to my iPod Touch, already populated with meaningless apps, and I’m sure it won’t bring value to yours, but I suspect it will entertain kids a lot longer than adults.
