The users make pictures and upload their clothes into the Outfit gurus virtual closet, and when there is a special event coming up and you don’t know what to wear, than you upload the request on your wall and the other users of outfit gurus can help you choose the perfect outfit or can give advice on an outfit which you have already in mind.
According to The Telegraph, a recent study found that the average woman, in the course of her lifetime, spends almost one year standing in front of her closet deciding what to wear. The study–which polled 2,491 women and was based on an adult lifetime from age 16 to 60–found that women spend an average of 16 minutes deciding what to wear on weekday mornings and 14 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays, for a whopping 287 days spread out over their lives
In addition, the poll, by Marks & Spencer’s Shopping campaign found the huge amount of time spent staring at their clothes trying to make a decision has led to 62 per cent of women suffering ‘wardrobe rage’ – irrational tantrums about not having anything they want to wear.

Currently Outfit Gurus is being pushed and marketed in Europe, Thailand and Singapore and hopefully after gathering a large user base it will be able to penetrate the American Market and also be linked to the events on Facebook and online retail shops, where users will be able to suggest a piece of clothing which does not feature in the closet but would be a great addition to the closet or a suggested outfit.
Outfit gurus is a free app, which is available on both Android and iOS and is available in French, English and German. It was created by Daniela Nunan who is a mother of three from Switzerland and an app development company from Geneva called Swiss Tomato.
