Maybe you miss that triangle metronome your teacher had sitting on her piano. This is the app for you. Looking like a traditional metronome it does a bit more than the basics and can split up the beat in virtually any way you want (beats per measure and notes per measure).

Easy to change your beats per minute, tells you what that rate is called (Largo, Andante, Prestissimo, etc) and will let you mark the beat in 1/4, 2/4, 3/4 and 4/4 time. Basic app but solid.

flashy. If you want something that is a visual cue this is the app for you. I don’t know that I’ll like this, I’m used to the auditory signal and suspect that flashes will make me look rather than focusing on the beat and what I’m playing but we’ll see.
