Spool basically lets you transfer things from your web browser to your iPhone or iPad, including articles, images and PDFs to read while you’re mobile.
The app uses a Wi-Fi or 3G connection to update its content, but you don’t have to be online to view the things you forwarded to yourself through Spool. The app also supports the capability of caching content in offline mode, meaning you can save articles to your iOS device before getting on a plane and still be able to read everything you saved.

Hipster doesn’t look to replace Facebook, but it does provide a cool way to share where you are and what you’re doing with your friends. While you’re out and about, snap a photo with Hipster and you can create a cool-looking digital postcard to share with others to capture what you’ve been up to.
Fans of apps such as Instagram will appreciate Hipster’s aesthetic. Apart from sending your own postcards, you can check out those of others. You can hit your friends list to see postcards they’ve created, or search by locality to see the images created by the people around those areas.

Puzzle-platformer Scribblenauts Remix isn’t about quick reflexes or button-tapping skill, it’s about getting creative and solving problems by creating the tools you need. For example, if you come to a wall you can’t jump over, you can create a ladder, or wings for your character Maxwell, or a Pegasus to ride. Just type the words, and that thing you typed will appear in the game for you to use.
Scribblenauts includes 40 levels, plus 10 that are exclusive to iOS players. It uses iCloud saving to allow you to save your game on one iOS device and pick it up on another, and Game Center support provides achievements for you to earn and leaderboards for you to see how your skills stack up against other players.

Steambirds: Survival, the sequel to the highly popular SteamBirds, imagines an alternate World War II scenario in which the Axis powers are beating back the Allies. Air battles are commonplace, which is where you come in. You’re not quite a pilot and not quite a commander in this turn-based strategy game, directing your plane (and allies) around the skies in order to destroy your enemies and complete missions.
As you take down enemy planes and complete your objectives, you’ll earn copper you can apply to upgrading your planes or recruiting wingmen that you can control in battle. The game features eight different aircraft and 64 missions to complete, as well as Game Center support for achievements and leaderboards.
