Social networking site Posterous has created Posterous Spaces, and this app gives you a new way to post stuff from your mobile device to the Internet. You can quickly add blog posts, photos, videos and texts to your Space for others to see, and you can follow your friends and their Posterous Spaces easily through the app.
Posterous gives you the ability to make as many Spaces as you want, and you can render any of them public or private. You can also automatically send your posts from Posterous straight to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Flickr. You can also even create Spaces that are open to groups, and any of the group’s members can post to the Space as well.
Priceline Hotel & Car Negotiator (iPhone, iPad) Free
Priceline has updated its app with iPad support and a whole bunch of new features. The app now allows iPad users to search through more than 150,000 hotels across the U.S., and see recent winning bids other users have put down on hotel rooms.
The new update also lets you check reviews for hotels and other travel-related businesses from other users. You can also use the app to check-out of your hotel room. For iPhone users, you can also use the app to rent a car and snag exclusive discounts for using the app.
NFL Rivals (iPhone, iPad) $2.99
Developer NaturalMotion has remixed its Backbreaker Football experience and thrown in real NFL teams in NFL Rivals. The result is a game that keeps all the arcade thrills of Backbreaker – fast few-on-one challenges in which players dodge defenders and run down running backs – while mixing in a season play options and stat tracking.
NFL Rivals lets you pick an NFL team and play its real schedule in short-burst challenges for both offense and defense. As you score points in each “week,” your running totals get uploaded to NFL Rivals’ online leaderboards, so you can always see where you stack up against other players all over the world. It also carries Game Center support, which supplies more leaderboards and achievements.
jAggy Race (iPhone, iPad) $0.99
Side-scrolling go-kart racer jAggy Race starts out simply enough: One button to go forward, the other to reverse, and one more to jump. But the game when played is far from simple. Sure, your goal is to get to the end of each track as fast as possible, but tracks go upside down. And sideways. And sometimes are cut in half. And there are deadly things, like giant saw blades, that you have to avoid.
Gravity is suspect in jAggy Race’s 23 tracks, in which you’ll take turns that send you over cliffs or up steep inclines, or even jump and flip to get up to upside-down tracks above you. Jaggy Race includes Game Center support for achievements and leaderboards, and each track has three different difficulty levels to keep the challenge going.
