The app includes several features for observing 9/11, including a seven-stop walking tour through New York City and information about all the sites included within.
Explore 9/11 also includes photos from the events of that day and from the memorial in New York, which can be overlaid on real locations if you’re on the walking tour. There’s also a timeline of events and other information from the memorial, and the map of the tour even shows Wi-Fi hotspots where you can download photos along the way.

Interested in learning more about music? Check out Tenuto, an app filled with 12 musical exercises that are customizable for different instruments and skill levels. The app helps teach you to be a better musician with lots of different exercises, ranging from learning about chords to learning how to identify different notes by ear.
Tenuto includes four different musical calculators and can simulate keyboards and fret boards as you learn. It also has exercises for identifying music and notes on staffs, as well. Overall, if you’re hopeing to become a better musician in your spare time, Tenuto is a handy way to do it.
Tiny Heroes (iPhone, iPad) $2.99
Tower defense game Tiny Heroes puts you on the other side of classic fantasy gameplay. Instead of playing as the heroes, venturing into the dangerous dungeon in search of treasure, you control the dungeon and have to keep those pesky knights and wizards away from your hoard of gold. To do so, you’ll need to set a series of delightful traps, ranging from spikes in the floor and saw blades in the walls, to skeleton warriors to do your bidding.
Tiny Heroes features 30 levels and about 50 defenses that you can unlock as you play through its various campaigns. There are also a mess of enemy heroes to defeat, and through the course of the game you’ll unlock challenge levels at which to try your hand. Tiny Heroes also features OpenFeint and Game Center support for achievements and leaderboards.
Galaxy Express (iPhone, iPad) $0.99
A puzzler in which you play an interstellar courier, Galaxy Express is all about efficient navigation. The game is played on a grid, in which you can place arrows to steer your ship and guide it to the planet where it needs to drop off its cargo. If you come to an obstacle, your ship automatically makes a turn, so you’ll need to plan a way to navigate around the grid and use your limited number of arrows to arrive at your destination.
There are 120 puzzles to solve through the course of Galaxy Express, and the game features social networking support so you can share your solutions with others. The game also features Game Center support for leaderboards and achievements.
