Zenonia fans, the day you’ve been patiently awaiting is at hand — the third installment of the iOS role-playing game series is now available in the App Store, and it’s brimming with stuff to do and adventures to have. We’ve got the whole story on the game below, so read up on Zenonia and then check out a couple of other great new games while you’re at it.
Zenonia 3 (iPhone, iPad) $4.99
The third installment in the Zenonia role-playing game series is absolutely huge — it features 227 maps and 136 quests to play through in its massive single-player story and 16-bit old-school graphics to bring up a little nostalgia in RPG fans. Players can choose from four different classes when building their adventurers, and can enjoy the game with all new mechanics rebuilt from the ground up or improved over previous versions.
The latest Zenonia packs an online “asynchronous” co-op mode you can play with friends without having to both play at the same time, and 200 monsters to take on in battle along the way. There’s a huge amount of content to be found in Zenonia 3, and it’ll keep players busy for a long time.
Bumperrific Express (iPhone, iPad) Free
Take part in a game show based on deciphering license plates with Bumperrific Express, a game that includes 400 license plate puzzles to figure out. The puzzles have you sounding out and using logic to figure out what the codes mean — for example, MTBRAIN would be Empty Brain, and B4DKCME could be a dentist’s license plate (Before Decay, See Me).
This is the free version of the full game, Bumperrific, and you’ll never see the same license plate in the same game. Once you finish a game, you can share your scores online using Facebook.
Snuggle Truck (iPhone, iPad) $1.99
Driving game Snuggle Truck puts you behind the wheel of a side-scrolling pickup packed with cuddly animals, whom you have to rescue from destruction by getting to the zoo as quickly as possible. The physics-heavy game will have your truck bouncing crazily over deserts and forest as you squash armadillos and try to control the chaos.
Snuggle Truck packs 40 levels and features hand-painted backgrounds and beautiful cartoon graphics. It includes Game Center support for achievements and leaderboards to let you check your abilities against players all over the world. Snuggle Truck also works as a remote to control the PC and Mac version of the game, should you want to play that, giving you a whole different experience for the title.
