From the same crew who created Hipstamatic comes IncrediBooth, a mini photo booth inside your iPhone.
Before IncrediBooth hit the iTunes App Store, those of us yearning for the old days of cramming a bunch of friends into a photo booth and making goofy faces then, ending up with a strip of photos had to hunt down bars that had vintage photo booths in them, and most of the time the booths either didn’t work, or there was a couple in there creating borderline porn shots.
IncrediBooth uses the front-facing camera. Simply place it in front of your face, cram a bunch of your friends over your shoulders (or kittens — whatever you like), and hit the button. Four shots are taken in succession, with enough time between each to change your goofy face.
There are three lenses. The first is black-and-white and a little grainy. The second adds a grainy sepia tone to the photos, and the third is color and looks like those pictures your mom took of you back in the 70s.
To change the lenses, just tap the black circle surrounding the button you hit to start taking pictures. The lens rotates, sounding like some old mechanical device that no one uses anymore.
Let IncrediBooth use your location, and it will tag your pics with it. You can share your photos on Facebook or send via email. You can also save the strips or individual photos to your photo library.
For 99 cents, IncrediBooth is a fun tool for your iPhone camera.
