Well, the iPad is here. Almost. Yes, I’ll admit to having momentarily considered pitching a tent on the sidewalk outside the nearest Apple store until March. Just last week, I wrote about the apps I would absolutely have to install immediately on an Apple tablet. Now that I’ve seen it (via an endless supply of videos of the announcement and the slick promos on the Apple website), I’m able to envision how I will use it once I’ve got it in my hot, sweaty little hands.
iPad apps for reading and writing
I will most definitely use it to journal and take notes. Sims 3 ($6.99) will be gorgeous on the iPad.
Of course, what excites me most off all are the apps that have yet to be developed or updated to take advantage of the larger screen.
