The ZipPark iValet iPhone app presents an eagle eye’s view of a simplistic parking lot, and you must tap five red valets to park cars when the pull up, park their cars, and then retrieve them when the blue costumers return for their rides. It sounds simple (and it is), but it quickly gets hectic.
You’ll want to prevent a line of people picking up their automobiles while also avoiding a procession of cars waiting to park. To do that, you must keep an eye on all your employees simultaneously — easier said than done. Since all the valets are identical, it’s easy to lose track. They’ll usually diligently return to the same spot upon completing their task, which can make forgetting you have extra men at your disposal when you need them happen more than you’d think
Fortunately, your loyal men are smart enough to not let you park multiple cars in the same spot. But they aren’t too bright: The tap accuracy can be pretty unforgiving, resulting in your valets stupidly walking from one sidewalk to another instead of hopping in a car just because your finger slipped.
First come, first served doesn’t cut it at this parking lot: Customers will quickly grow impatient if your service starts to become incompetent. Take too long to park their cars and they’ll merely drive through the lot to try their luck somewhere else. Take too long to return their cars and the patrons can also grow irritated there. Aggravate 10 customers, and you’ll never park cars in this town again.
