Zenonia, popular on the Android and iPhone, has reached a major milestone recently: 5 million PvP (player-versus-player) game sessions. The multiplayer title from Gamevil demonstrates the growing recognition of mobile games, particularly those that bring players together in a live, gaming environment.

Flick Defense is a great casual game where your stickmen characters must defend their tower from the onslaught of enemy stickmen. Choose your weapons and unleash their forces on the enemies, with never-ending levels of fun. The game costs 99 cents, with options to purchase more weapons as you play.

Rescue the adorable creatures of the Everlands with this fun strategy game. Combining the forces of each forest creature, it’s up to you to figure a way to battle the land’s dark forces. Set up in puzzle format, you lay out creatures’ cards in a manner that will defeat the enemy, based on their strengths, weaknesses and specialties. This Android game costs about $2.35.
Like Scrabble? Try Wordfeud Free—it’s the latest Scrabble-like title to hit the Android Market. You can play against friends in online matches, with support for up to 20 games simultaneously. The idea is to play at your own pace, with alerts let you know when another player has gone. The games have built-in chat windows as well.
Classic Tetris (Full) has climbed in popularity this week—a nod to the timeless, original game’s 25th anniversary. This particular title, while free, has the basic features you remember, making it a throwback indeed.
