Who What When and Where Trivia iPhone game’s trivia experience is truly lacking

I really do enjoy trivia, but what the free This app provides five sets of 10 multiple choice questions. The questions are for the most part history questions, and although each category actually separates the questions into answers that are either “True/False,” “Date Specific,” or “Geographic” in nature, you won’t know which is which until you start the trivia quiz, because none of the categories are labeled.

A wider variety of questions and the ability to sort these questions by specific categories would go a long way towards giving this app more value.

Even if you answer a question and you’re wrong, you’re given another opportunity to guess again repeatedly until you get it right. There is an option to disable that feature, but it’s not set as the default.

Even with the “easy mode” turned off, Who What When and Where Trivia misses what makes the game so much fun in the first place – the competitive aspect. This app is strictly a one-player affair, so while you could certainly pass the app to your friend to see if they could do better than you, there is no scoreboard or way for the app to actually track a true trivia competition.

With so many trivia apps available in the iTunes App Store, this is one you could do without.
