While Tim Cook spottings are not typically front page news, it is notable when the CEO of Apple is reportedly seen cruising the offices of an elite video game developer.
As reported by Apple Insider, Cook apparently made a visit to Bellevue, Washington-based Valve Corporation. Started by Microsoft alumni more than a decade ago, Valve (among other things) is the operator of the 30-million user Steam gaming platform.
Might this be a deeper partnership with Game Center? Is Apple kicking the tires for a potential acquisition? Or maybe this was just a friendly visit? We expect to know more shortly.
Stay tuned.
