Looking for just the right app for your mobile device? The one for football season? The one to help your kids with math? The one for news? The one to keep you occupied during a cross-country flight?

We started Appolicious after many frustrating sessions looking for just the right app. After several disappointing purchases, we realized there had to to be a better way.
Appolicious provides you immediately with recommendations from our editorial team. The hundreds of reviews in the Appolicious Advisor section will tell you which apps you need to download (and which to avoid).
We also provide easy ways to get recommendations from people you follow and people like you. The idea is to mirror the real world, when a friend says, “Hey, have you seen this super-cool app?”
To take full advantage of Appolicious, create a profile. When you log in to your Appolicious profile, you can choose to “follow” other people to receive recommendations from them. You can click on the People Like You box on the lower-right side of the home page to get recommendations based on what is important to you. The recommendations are based on who actually owns the app among your friends and people like you, not just ratings.
When you click on the Profile tab, you can see what apps are in your friend’s libraries, what they’ve rated and reviewed and what their interests are.
If you are looking for a particular app, use the Appolicious search box at the top of each page. We will deliver app names, ratings, reviews, social activity (which of your friends use the app) and media mentions, plus videos and pictures for the apps. Just by searching, you can make a decision if an app is right for you.
There are two ways to import your apps into Appolicious. You can let Appolicious copy the names of your apps directly from your computer. Or, you can just type in the name of the apps you own. You can find your App Library under the Profile tab.
