Popular video sharing app, Viddy, added some new features to its iOS app yesterday. Version 1.7 hit the iTunes App Store and includes a number of enhancements mainly around customization.
Once a video has been shot and uploaded, Viddy now lets users designate cover art for their videos. In addition, there are new production packs that let users mix and match different effects when creating videos within the app.
Viddy also rolled out a new user experience at Viddy.com using HTML5 so it’s optimized for viewing on the iPad. Also, users can comment, share and like shared videos, without having to use the mobile app.
As Viddy sees an ever-growing user-base around the world and continues to thrive on its “Instagram for video sharing” moniker, the app is now available in a number of local languages like Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, Thai, Filipino, and Portuguese. More languages are expected to be added soon.
