Tired of flipping between two apps to check your football scores and then tweet about them? TweetQB solves your dilemma by linking up each week’s football games with Twitter.
With TweetQB, you’re able to quickly see the score of a game, tap on that game, and see what Twitter is saying about the game. This isn’t limited to the folks you’re following, either. You’ll get a look at anyone using the hashtags of the teams involved.
If you elect to sign into your Twitter account with TweetQB you’ll also be able to add your opinion to the fray quickly, thanks to an option that adds team hashtags quickly for the game thread you clicked on.
It’s a novel app, certainly, but a bit bare bones at this point. There’s no opinion to view only specific tweets, like say those of people you actively follow. Nor does there seem to be much of a mechanism to get any more info on a game besides its score.
With a few updates, TweetQB could be a great hybrid app that does for sports-loving social media mavens what Last.FM did for music-loving social media mavens. Until then, this is just a so-so app experience.
