If you prefer to travel with your pet as a companion, download the PawTrotter app ($2.99) for an extensive list of pet-friendly businesses and destinations, including groomers, dog parks, shopping, hotels and more. Listings include user reviews, which uses bones for a rating system.

The app is a complete database of dangerous plants to your pets that are found in your home, backyard and around the neighborhood.
