BirdsEye iPhone app
At $19.99, the BirdsEye iPhone app is not for everybody. But if you are an avid bird watcher, this new iPhone app is a worthy download at almost any price. The app notifies you of certain birds nearby and provides regular updates of where any of the 847 North American species have been seen recently. The app includes interactive maps of 25,000 bird watching spots and more than four hours of professionally produced bird calls.
Battle Blasters iPhone game
This $2.99 arcade-style game places you in the year 3042. Choose among six characters as you engage in one-on-one battles through three difficulty levels. Monitor how you fare against friends on a Facebook Leaderboard.
Real Estate Search iPhone app
Just in time for a hopeful uptick in the real estate market is a new free iPhone app developed by Realtor.com. With a database of 4 million listings, the app’s GPS technology allows you to search for open houses within a 20-mile radius.
