The app offers seven sets of six exercises that target “all the major muscles of your core including the rectus abdominis, obliques and lower back.”
The first screen for each set of exercises is a detailed list of instructions, followed by a safety warning, both of which were appreciated. Then, let the workout begin. On the top half of you iPhone is a graphic that depicts how you should position your body, while on the bottom is a written description of what you are suppose to do.
Tap the screen, and a timer pops up that allows you to set how long you want the interval to last. Touch “start,” and start crunching. When the time is up, the timer will sound. Move on to the next exercise by swiping the screen to the left.
This app doesn’t have video demonstrations like some other fitness iPhone apps, but what it does have is workouts that you can do at the gym or in the privacy of your own home.
For example, there are some exercises that require professional equipment which the average person does not keep at home. But there are still plenty of exercises that require nothing more than the force of your own weight.
