The company behind Shazam, Shazam Encore and (Shazam)RED today launched an exciting version 5.0 update to these apps to make them the world’s fastest content identification and discovery experience for music, television and media advertising.
The improved technology now enables Shazam users to identify music, Shazam-enabled TV shows and commercials in under a second, and the company hopes this will help people explore and share more of the music and shows that they love.
According to TechCrunch, there are other minor improvements, too. The UI has been revamped a little and sharing has been improved, plus there’s support for a few new international languages including Brazilian Portuguese, Korean and Spanish language support for South America.
