Sometimes at the end of an exhausting work week, you need a little help getting the conversation going. For that, there’s Girl Talk, an app that works by shake to get the conversation flowing.
The app is like a Magic 8-ball filled with all the questions you’ve always wanted to ask your friends, but didn’t have the courage to bring up.
I’ve been using Girl Talk with my friends lately, and the results are decidedly mixed. One discussion became heated when “Have you ever been a bridesmaid and hated the dress?” came up in the Truth or Dare portion. It struck a nerve with one friend, who, to put it mildly, was a real bridezilla.
The app appears juvenile with its lilac color scheme; a little more sophistication would be appreciated. And, of course, when you get together with good friends, you don’t usually need an iPhone app to get the conversation going. But it is fun.
Perhaps the cast members of one of “The Real Housewives…” reality shows could use Girl Talk on an upcoming episode?
