Don’t let the name fool you, Quickey isn’t some sort of ultra-fast dating service. It’s actually a way to create shortcuts for your text messages when you don’t have time to compose more thoughtful replies.
While the jist of Quickey is that it assists you with creating shortcuts like typing “ILU” which your phone would create to “I love you,” that wouldn’t be a very remarkable app on its own, considering it’s a function the iPhone already performs. But Quickey also lets you add fun emojis to your messages, so your shortcuts have a little more flavor than usual. Nothing beats sending a text that says “I’ll be home soon,” with a cartoon car trailing your text!
You can also send pre-written messages right from Quickey, eliminating the need to remember the shortcut you programmed entirely in lieu of tapping a button with the message already written on it. Quickey comes pre-loaded with a handful of useful phrases but you can also create your own custom phrases, so your messaging ability is limited only by your imagination.
Quickey isn’t for everyone but if you send a lot of messages on the run, it’s a handy app to have at your disposal.
