The scanR Business Center app is a new program that does what it promises very well, a trait of all reliable iPhone apps available for purchase. This app allows the user to scan, view, print and fax .pdf files around the world.
The app it pretty straight forward. Using the camera on your iPhone, you can take a picture of a document, which is them turned into a nice, clean .pdf file. Once you have the .pdf, you can send it to a fax machine for printing, fax the document to any fax machine, or use your iPhone or your computer’s browser to view the file online.
Users without access to a fax machine will have a little more trouble using this application. Unfortunately, you cannot use the scanR Business Center app to print from your computer’s printer.
This app would be great for a businessperson on the go, or a student who needs scan a page from a textbook, or perhaps to share notes from class. The .pdf files the app creates look as if they were created on a computer and not from an iPhone picture.
The ScanR Business Center app is very useful, with only minimal downsides. The job it does scanning documents alone could be used for many purposes–such as your bar tab for the drinks you bought for clients. Just pull it up on your iPhone to show the boss.
