As the days turn to hours heading into Apple’s 2011 Worldwide Developers Conference, new details are emerging about the capabilities of iOS 5.
First reported by MacRumors via a submission from one of its readers, it’s now possible that when asking iTunes to scan your app library for updates, the following message reveals what is in the works for iOS 5.
“If your device has Automatic Download enabled for apps, your updates will download to your device without having to sync.”
Of course, iOS to date does not accommodate over-the-air updates. Now that it appears this functionality exists, chances are Apple will reveal all sorts of new tricks it can do with wireless syncing on Monday.
