Puppy Park iPhone game a cute way to fill up all of your unused hours

The Puppy Park iPhone game (99 cents) is one of those sweet, pretty little games that you start up in order to kill a few minutes and the next thing you know, two day have gone by, your legs have atrophied, your iPhone has grown into your palm and cutesy puppies and colors are floating in your vision.

The iPhone game itself is simple—it’s a little like dominoes with colors and puppies. You can choose from three levels of play—easy, medium and hard. The game screen consists of blocks that are gradually filled with rectangles that are either split diagonally with two colors, or are all one color.

The object? Match colors side-by-side and create chains of matched blocks. Clicking an exclamation point up in the right corner dumps all of the matched blocks (except the chain ends). To win a level, you must clear a set number of matched blocks. If you don’t clear fast enough, and the puppy park fills up with puppies, you lose.

The challenge lies in amping your score by waiting as long as possible to clear your matched puppies, thus running the risk of filling the park.

The Puppy Park iPhone game uses the AGON Online score system. Create a profile, and you can compare your scores with others near your location and share scores with friends via Facebook and Twitter.

It’s not rocket science, but it will while away some time.
