The Plushed iPhone game ($1.99) transported me back to the days of Super Mario Brothers for the original Nintendo system, which can be blamed for my whole addiction to technology. In other words, I love it! Plushed is a 2010 girl’s must-have pocket adventure game. No cool chick should be caught during downtime without it.
All right, I guess the guys can play too.
The Plushed iPhone game is Alice and Wonderland meets Mario Brothers. Basically, an animated stuffed bunny (hence the “Plushed” name) sets out to free his owner from a life of reigning over the twisted kingdom they’ve been thrown into. Along the way, the bunny and his talking sword meet loads of characters to help (and which sometimes hinder) their progress. Feed these characters some pizza, and they’ll happy help you on your journey.
The controls took a while to get used to. I changed to the “tilt” option and it got much easier. It took me a while on the second level to figure out how in the heck to get the pizza out of the tree (hint: Shake your iPhone). But overall, it was a delightful game experience that I’ll enjoy for months to come.
This iPhone game earns its rightful place on my overflowing iPhone, especially at the bargain-basement price of $1.99. I’ve paid $50 for Xbox 360 games that were worse than this adventure iPhone game. And you get three mini-games in addition to the overall story as well.
