The game has a chalkboard theme that is appealing to the eye. Tic Tac Toe Free reminds me of a time when I would draw that big pound sign on a spare piece of paper and have brutal Tic Tac Toe matches with a friend. Now, there’s no need to draw the game––I can just pull up the app on my Touch and have a go with a friend. Or, you can challenge yourself to a match.
What I like most about Tic Tac Toe Free is the two player option. There are also three levels of difficulty to test your skills against the computer, and the expert mode is quite a challenge.
Tic Tac Toe Free doesn’t berate you with ads. There is a paid version, but there really isn’t a difference between the two. The ads are small at the bottom of your screen, and it doesn’t distract you from your game. It remains one of the top free apps at iTunes because you get exactly what you paid for—a classic game of Tic Tac Toe.
