If you’re like me, the moment you walk away from your parked car there is a possibility you might never find it again – especially when parking in a multi-level garage. Park Smart 1.0 (99 cents in the App store) is a great little app for the iPhone that helps you remember not only where you parked your car, but how much time is on the meter. The concept is simple: Geotag yourself, put time in the meter, then match it on Park Smart’s timer and walk away.
The app construction is simple, yet intuitive. The buttons look like their functions, and the timer is a nice blue LED. Basically, you can just add time to the meter, and then on your iPhone you add time to the timer. It will then notify you when your meter time is almost up. You can also enter the section, level or color of the zone that your car is parked in as a reminder. Geotag yourself, and then when you are on the return trip you tap, “find your car,” and it does. This app is hassle-free.
Great little app to have around, especially when you live near the city or do a lot of running around. If you’re like me, it’s great at helping you remember exactly where you parked because the odds of you finding it again diminish exponentially based on the length of time you spend in the movie theater, mall, building, etc.
All in all, if you think you might use it, then download it. It’s 99 cents of “well worth it.”
