TGI Cyber Monday (Free)
What’s it about? With the biggest online shopping day just around the corner, TGI Cyber Monday prepares you by providing deals from a variety of outlets.
What’s cool? TGI Cyber Monday monitors a number of retailers, including Target and Amazon, and keeps track of their deals, presenting them in-app for fast browsing. The app lets you mark and save deals as well. You can share deals with others or just pop straight over to a retailer’s sale from the app.
Who’s it for? If Cyber Monday is one of those days you look forward to all year, TGI Cyber Monday is for you. It can definitely smooth out your online shopping experience.

Yog™ update (Free)
What’s it about? Yog is a bit of a social app for runners, allowing you to schedule runs with other people all over the world. The idea is that you run at the same time wherever you are and “compete” if you want.
What’s cool? The update makes Yog available to iPhone users the world over. Yog tracks your run using your device’s GPS, and you can listen to iPod tracks while you do so. You can join other people’s runs, receive medals for your participation, and keep track of stats like distance and calories burned.
Who’s it for? Runners are the target market for Yog. If you want to infuse a little healthy competition into your workout routine, try this app.
What’s it like? Both Runkeeper and MapMyRun are quality Yog alternatives, and help keep track of your runs and the distances covered.
Gear Jack ($0.99)
What’s it about? Gear Jack is a side-scrolling platformer that falls into the running game genre. While controlling a robot named Jack you earn points while avoiding pits and other hazards running through each level.
What’s cool? The visual style and art direction of Gear Jack are pretty interesting, along with its musical selection to give it a strange, techno-future vibe. The gameplay is pretty simple – players either jump obstacles or duck under them, but Jack can also perform tricks to boost distance and points. You can also customize Jack as you move through the game to make him more adaptive to your playing style.
Who’s it for? If you enjoy quirky running games, Gear Jack is your kind of experience.
What’s it like? Polara and Save Them All are both recent, fun additions to the runner genre, and there’s always the old standby, Canabalt.
