What’s it about? Hero911 brings law enforcement officers information about school shootings as they’re happening, with the hope of reducing response time to those incidents by looping in more law enforcement officers, including those who are retired.
What’s cool? When a shooting happens at a school, one of the most important factors at play is response time. Hero911 looks to reduce the response time for law enforcement officers responding to a school shooting by creating a network of officers in a given area and notifying all of them when an incident is occurring, not just those who might be on call. The network is restricted to law enforcement officers, but can include those who are retired to create a larger pool of officers, or potentially ping plainclothes officers who are nearby. The app provides alerts and maps to the schools, and also notifies 911 of what’s happening and reports the number of officers, including those in plainclothes, who have responded.
Who’s it for? This one is restricted to law enforcement officers as defined by the law, but it aims to bring as many of those officers together for their fast response capabilities.

Team Monster (Free)
What’s it about? Build a team of monsters and take them into battle in Pokemon-like role-playing game Team Monster.
What’s cool? Like many other similar titles, Team Monster is all about exploring a strange island filled with interesting creatures. Your goal in the game is to catch those creatures, train them, and put them to work fighting monsters. There are more than 100 monsters to find throughout the game, and as you level them up, they’ll become more effective in battle and allow you to go farther and explore more. You’ll also build up your base camp on the island with new buildings and structures for increased benefits over time. Team Monster lets you combine monster to create new ones with different abilities, and you’ll travel to multiple islands over the course of the game, where you’ll unlock new storylines.
