What’s it about? Take control of your photos with Pixology, a photo editing app that lets users create and adjust multiple layers in their images to create lots of different effects.
What’s cool? One of the really great elements about photoshop is the ability to adjust various elements in “layers” on photos, which means that users can add multiple effects onto an image and see how they interact. Pixology is a photo editor that supports a number of kinds of layers, including textures, effects and photos, and allows users full control of those layers. You can use free transform to change a layer’s shape, place it on top or below other layers, and use a number of blending tools to mix layers together to make them seamless. When you’re done, you can save your images to your Camera Roll or send them to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

What’s it about? Create an automated and rather funny text message for ending your employment with joke app Quit Your Job.
What’s cool? Nobody wants to have to endure those awkward conversations when terminating an employer-employee relationship, and that’s why Quit Your Job exists. Rather than forcing you to engage in awkward conversation with your boss when you want to tell them you’re moving on, Quit Your Job lets you send a text message the app generates based on the information you give it. Just plug in why you’re leaving and where you’re headed when you move on, and the app generates a message (with plenty of embellishments) that you can then send to your boss. Obviously, the whole idea is for entertainment purposes only (you probably won’t get a very good resume reference if you hit “send”), but it’s still pretty funny.

Battle Supremacy ($$.99)
What’s it about? Smash through enemies, buildings, other players and whatever else gets in your way in Battle Supremacy, a World War II tank game with beautiful graphics.
What’s cool? Driving tanks is just fun, which explains why so many tank battle games are out there in the video game world. Battle Supremacy is just such a tank game, although it has a few extra cool things going for it – like accurate World War II tanks, the ability to destroy objects like buildings and trees during battle, and a single-player campaign that takes players through France, Russia and the Pacific Islands. You’ll also earn upgrades for your tanks to make them better, and find yourself flying planes and piloting ships in addition to blowing stuff up on land. Battle Supremacy also includes a multiplayer mode to pit players against one another in lots of different vehicles.
Who’s it for? Fans of World War II war titles that hinge on intense vehicular combat will want to check out Battle Supremacy.
