What’s it about? The sequel to SlotZ Racer puts players back in control of toy slot race cars, using single-button controls for single-player and multiplayer action.
What’s cool? You’ve probably seen slot racers in real life. They’re those toy cars that run around a model raceway running on a “slot” track, so no steering is required. SlotZ Racer 2 plays with the conventions of the toys. Namely, going too fast and flying off the track. The challenge of SlotZ Racer 2 is to get your speed up high enough to stay competitive with your opponents, without blowing through turns and losing the track altogether. The game comes with multiple game modes, including a Kids mode for training and the “Nnaargh” mode that’s meant to give you a real challenge. It supports multiplayer with as many as four players on a single device, and also includes a track editor mode.
