Start the week with a cool way to present the photos you took over the weekend with our first fresh app, Linea. It’s primarily a photo browser, allowing you to create mosaics out of your images, share them easily, and even order physical printed art books of your shots. We’ve got some great games to kill your productivity this week, as well. First up is Bounty Arms, a side-scrolling action-adventure title with gorgeous Unreal Engine graphics, followed by Nuclear Outrun, an endless runner in which your job is to fight zombies and try to get as far as you can before a nuclear bomb falls on your ruined, post-apocalyptic city.
Linea update (Free)
What’s it about? Photo browser Linea allows users to quickly and easily share their images in the app’s mosaic style, giving you options for privacy in sharing and collaborative albums, and the ability to print physical copies of your albums.
What’s cool? The presentation used in Linea is probably its most striking feature. The app allows you to arrange photos not just into groups and albums, but into mosaics to create striking groups of images together. You’re able to upload images from multiple locations and sync them across several devices, and when you’ve got your photos all set, you can share them with others however you choose. The app also includes collaborative album capabilities and provides you with storage of your original images even if you use them in smaller versions as mosaics, and you can also order physical art books to be printed and delivered to your door. Linea’s new update also adds Dropbox support, allowing you to use photos saved to the cloud storage service in your mosaic.
Who’s it for? If you’ve got a lot of digital photography that’s just sitting on various devices or on Facebook, try Linea for a new way to share and present those photos.

Bounty Arms ($4.99)
What’s it about? Become an interstellar bounty hunter and control one of three characters as you work through side-scrolling missions in Bounty Arms.
What’s cool? Side-scroller Bounty Arms is a 2-D game with a 3-D aesthetic. You’ll work through levels heading left to right, but as in many brawlers and other similar action games, you can move into the foreground and background in order to get a full range of movement. Using the Unreal Engine 3, the game features some awesome-looking visuals as players fight through 10 different levels as a member of the bounty hunter group known as HOGS. The action game features three different characters to choose from, each with different special abilities you can use to pulverize enemies. There are also some huge bosses to face down and guns to use, platforming elements to overcome and more.
Who’s it for? Players who enjoy action-adventure games that meld elements like shooting, fighting and platforming should check out Bounty Arms.
What’s it like? Check out developer Kerosene’s other graphically gorgeous title, Bladeslinger, which combines Western movie tropes with horror elements and lots of monsters to fight.
Nuclear Outrun (Free)
What’s it about? Formerly a browser-based Flash game, Nuclear Outrun is endless runner (kind of) in which players try to drive as far as they can before a nuclear bomb destroys everything. Oh, and there are zombies.
What’s cool? It’s the end of the world and a nuclear bomb is about to land – in 30 seconds. In side-scrolling endless runner Nuclear Outrun, you have to try to outrun that nuke in your truck, while saving as many humans as you can along the way. To do that, you’ll have to defend yourself from missiles and zombies by shooting out the window of your car. Headshots and accuracy add time to the clock, but you’ll take damage if you’re hit by zombies and other hazards – as well as get slowed down. The goal is to tap away, shooting your way clear of everything, while also gathering up survivors and depositing them safely at bomb shelters. You can also earn and buy upgrades for your weapons and vehicles, and deploy huge weapons like a flying cyborg T-Rex to clear the way.
