What’s it about? The sequel to platformer Mikey Shorts, Mikey Hooks brings new elements to players adventuring through a 2-D side-scrolling world.
What’s cool? Platformer Mikey Hooks, like its predecessor, MIkey Shorts, will be familiar in a lot of ways to fans of the genre. Your main goal is to run through each level, freeing humans who have been encased in stasis tubes by aliens, and trying to avoid dangerous robots. The game judges your performance based on how quickly you complete each level, and how many coins you can collect along the way. Mikey Hooks changes things up by providing protagonist Mikey with a grappling hook item that lets him swing over gaps, dodge enemies and move more quickly through levels.
Who’s it for? Platformer fans will have a great time with Mikey Hooks, especially with its new grappling hook.
