Finally, we go back to Halloween with Indigo Lake, a horror-themed first-person shooter that’s full of scares (and which will record you as you play, so you can share your reactions).

Ghost Cam+ Screamer Prank Edition (Free)
What’s it about? Prank your friends and then create cool Halloween-themed photos filled with ghosts using Ghost Cam+.
What’s cool? With Halloween just around the corner, it’s a great time to take horrific, ghoslty photos and share them across social networks with your friends. Ghost Cam+ lets you ghost-out any photo you want, by adding ghost “stickers” after you take it, or by applying filters to make things seem a little more spectral and surreal. But the app also has a second function, just in time to put the “trick” in trick-or-treat – it’s a prank camera, great for scaring your friends. Ask a friend to take your picture and after a timer goes off, a ghost face will appear on your iOS device’s screen while your friend is preparing the photo, giving them a good scare.

What’s it about? Slice is a companion app for online shopping, helping to track packages, net discounts and more.
What’s cool? There are a lot of ins and outs that go with online shopping besides just putting in your credit card information, and Slice helps keep them all manageable. The app makes it easy to track packages after you make online orders with a variety of shipping companies, and also includes ways to save you money, like notifying you when a company you shopped with honors price matches from competitors. Slice’s new update also adds monitoring for product recalls, and brings a user interface redesign for iOS 7.

Indigo Lake ($1.99)
What’s it about? Psychological horror game Indigo Lake sends players into the strange titular location, where they’re tasked with dispelling evil spirits.
What’s cool? The town of Indigo Lake is known for its ghost sightings, but it seems the spirits have become restless and dangerous. After your friend, a local ghost hunter, goes missing, you’re follow him to Indigo Lake in hopes of finding out what happened to him. There, you’ll need to solve puzzles and fight off ghosts with special bullets in first-person shooter combat. In order to discover what’s going on in Indigo Lake and get rid of the spirits for good, you’ll also need to complete puzzles and decipher Native American pictograms along the way. Indigo Lake packs about six hours of single-player gameplay and also includes a live “reaction camera” that will capture you for sharing with others across social networks.
Who’s it for? Fans of first-person shooters and horror games should check out the scares in store in Indigo Lake.
