The app can pair with a number of different heart rate monitor devices, and with that information, it matches what you see on the video to the level of effort you’re putting out, adapting to your workout as you’re doing it. FitTrip works with just about any machine at the gym, and also provides you with stats based on your workouts, as well. Pepe and Pepita: Bilingual Spanish Gender & Vocab Challenge ($2.99)
What’s it about? Pepe and Pepita is an app that helps students learn the basic grammar of Spanish with the help of a matching game and other fun elements.
What’s cool? Spanish language learning app Pepe and Pepita challenges users to identify whether nouns are masculine or feminine by playing a matching game. Identifying which words are masculine and which are feminine in Spanish is the beginning of understanding good grammar in the language, so the app provides users with some 200 nouns and their English translations, and quizzes students to match them with wither the male skeleton Pepe, or the female skeleton Pepita. The quiz features 12 levels of ascending difficulty, and also features action-based mini-games between levels, to help keep kids and students engaged as they learn Spanish.
