Check out the updated Dabkick, an app that’s geared toward letting you share content on your iOS devices with other users by sharing what you’re seeing on your screen. You can watch videos and view photos together with other users (even if they don’t have the app), and chat while you do so. Up next is Bedtime Math, an app that encourages parents and kids to use math instead of bedtime stories. Finally, there’s Hiversaires, an old school point-and-click adventure game that encourages players to create maps and take notes.

Dabkick update (Free)
What’s it about? Why send videos to other users when you can both watch them together at the same time, even halfway across the world? Screen-sharing app Dabkick makes streaming together possible.
What’s cool? Dabkick’s newest update squashes some bugs and adds the “Music Layer” feature, adding streaming music to the other ocntent you can already share. The main idea behind Dabkick is that you share your screen with other people, wherever they are, and view the same content. Sort of like an instant social network, you can watch videos or send photos to people, and if they’re online, they’ll see them at the same time as you. As you share media, you can also use Dabkick to chat about it, and if the other person isn’t online, you can send them offline messages as well. The cool thing is that you don’t have to share personal information like email or social networking information in order to share media.
Who’s it for? If real-time sharing sounds more interesting to you than comments on a social networking site, check out Dabkick.
What’s it like? Grab Join Me for another content-sharing app, and there’s always good ol’ Facebook as well.
Bedtime Math (Free)
What’s it about? Bedtime Math looks to do for math what bedtime stories do for reading.
What’s cool? Much in the same way reading a story to kids at bedtime can help with a number of skills and learning, not the least of which is reading comprehension, Bedtime Math looks to make mathematics a fun part of nightly routines. The app includes a number of daily math problems, which all involve zany topics, and cover a range of categories. These include some for younger children and older ones, and a few that might give adults a bit of a challenge. The idea is to make math fun for kids at an early age to help them learn and use it throughout life.
Who’s it for? This one’s aimed at kids and their parents, but includes daily problems for people of all ages.

Hiversaires ($2.99)
What’s it about? Hiversaires is a point-and-click adventure game with a vectorized art style, set in a labyrinthine world that gives you no clues as to how to progress or solve its puzzles.
What’s cool? The Hiversaires world includes no text as you progress. It only reacts to your interactions, or it doesn’t. There’s no player hand-holding in Hiversaires, either – this is a game that encourages you to draw your own maps as you move through, and to take notes on what you discover so that you can solve puzzles later.
Who’s it for? If you like the old-school adventure game experience, Hiversaires is for you.
What’s it like? Other older adventure titles, such as Myst and Riven, are worth checking out if Hiversaires sounds like fun to you.
