New iPad has WiFi issues, according to AppleCare document

A propensity to turn up the heat is not the only thing that is off about the new iPad. Users are also complaining about Wi-Fi connectivity.

As reported by 9to5 Mac, “Apple is actively investigating” a number of Wi-Fi-related issues. To date, it is only the line of new iPads that are Wi-Fi-only, and users with LTE 4G versions that are carried by Verizon and AT&T are not experiencing problems.

The issue is large enough that nearly 1,000 users have commented openly on an Apple-hosted discussion thread.
