My @10NTC App List

NTEN 2010

This one is sort of obvious. If you’re here with us at NTC you need this app. Why have to search through all your social media listening tools to find all the different places this conference is listed? Use this app to follow twitter feeds, see pictures and best yet, access that schedule that just won’t stay in your head. If you don’t have this app you need it. Now.

AroundMe

I’ll admit it. I’m planning on doing at least one or two things while I’m here other than the conference. This app will help me find them. Need to figure out where the nearest pharmacy is? No problem. Want to leave the hotel and find a nice place for dinner outside? No problem. Unless you know Atlanta this is the app you need to find things that are, well, around you!

Hootsuite: Schedule Posts for Twitter, Instagram & More

Maybe you want to track some other twitter feeds while you’re here from outside those things tagged 10NTC. This app is excellent for tracking anything and everything you could possibly want to track. Just don’t forget to check all the columns you’ve set up or you could well wind up missing your direct messages. Don’t ask me how I know this.

Tungle – Calendar sharing & scheduling

I’ll admit that I don’t love this application all that much. Thus far it doesn’t seem capable of updating my outlook calendar when I schedule a meeting with it. That said, it is a tool to use to see what other people have on their calendar and that in and of itself is pretty handy. Sadly it’s not likely that this will make it any easier to reschedule the meeting I need to reschedule today, but at least it might be possible to find some time in 7 people’s schedules. Maybe.
