This app has audio files so you can hear how the words are pronounced. It’s also predictive, so you can just type in the first few letters in either english or spanish and it gives you a list to choose from. There’s a guessing game and a phrasebook included too. This app gets an A.

This phrase book is geared towards travelers and will definitely get you in the mood for a trip.
Lonely Planet Travel Guides, Phrasebooks and Maps
Last time I checked, this app was free and came with a guide to San Francisco and a Mexican Spanish phrase book. Go figure. They’re both pretty good.
Telemundo San Fco/SanJose/Oak Noticias en español
When you’re ready to step it up a notch, check out Telemundo. Just make sure you have a good wifi connection. Univision has a pretty good app too.
