Based on the popular step-by-step book series, Butt Art helps your kids learn how to draw by “building creativity from the bottom up” — starting each drawing with, yes, a butt. In Butt Art, your fam will get free access to three animals: a gorilla, an ostrich and a tiger. When you choose an animal to draw, Butt Art will provide tracing lines to help your artwork come together. The interface is simple to use, and your kids should have no problem picking up the different tools, which include an eraser, pencil, paintbrush, zoom and stamp. Kids can choose whatever colors they want from the rainbow palette.
If you sign up for an account, you can have different profiles and galleries for each of your family members. You can also opt to have all drawings emailed to you automatically, so you can see how creative your kids are being in real time. Additional animal packs are available for purchase in-app, and are a bargain at a buck apiece. Users can also opt to use the freestyle option, which just launches a blank canvas for you to draw whatever you want using the regular toolbox. It’s a great alternative to other painting programs since you can have the art sent to you, and create dedicated galleries for each artist.
