Ah, The Moron Test iPhone app (99 cents) and its Jedi mind tricks. Just when you think you’ve got it, you don’t. It had me so frustrated that I had to keep playing the silly game to prove myself. Yes, I may be a little bit stubborn, but dagnabbit, I’m a genius and I’ll prove it.
This addictive iPhone app tests your personal level of moronism, giving you a series of instructions that you must follow to a “T.” Throughout the simple instructions, they throw in loopholes, or what I label as Jedi mind tricks, to cause even the best concentrator to fail again and again. At least they offer you handy checkpoints, so if you fail once, you don’t have to start all over again. But, if you fail more than three times, you start from the beginning.
It is also a test of patience. Many times, the test will tell you to do something. For example, even after you finish pressing the green button six times, the test will fake you out by continuing to count down the clock to see if it can get you to press the button again. Press it, and fail. You moron!
Currently, The Moron Test iPhone app has three quizzes. But, the iPhone app promotes that more sections are coming soon. And, of course, you can share your results on Facebook.
