In the upcoming iPhone and iPad game, Celebrity Bodyguard, nearly everyone is your enemy. You’re the brawny, sunglasses-wearing protector for some caricatured versions of popular celebrities (Lady BlaBla, Rustin Beaver, and Count Edvard sound familiar?), using extreme force to repel the various kinds of whack jobs.
The game is a 2D shooter game that takes place on the red carpet, really driving home the point that this game is a spoof on everything Hollywood. Papparazzi, crazed fans, stalkers, snipers and even a “PESTA” protester in a bullet-proof panda suit will pop out of the crowds, windows and the sides of the screen. To protect your clients safety and their personal space, you have to shoot every single one of them.
Kill enough bad guys, and you’ll keep their star power up and stress level down. Do this for an unspecified period of time, and you can unleash a power attack that will wipe every enemy from your path.
