While the iPad has enjoyed a couple different DJ apps to play around with, the iPhone hasn’t been as lucky. Sure, there have been a few attempts and a couple come close to providing a decent experience, but nothing has been as complete as Tap DJ.
Although the iPhone arguably isn’t the best platform to create music on, the app has definitely brought a full experience to try. I put my less-than-adequate DJ skills to the test and found it to be extremely easy to use and full of features.
The app comes with a ton of samples and loops to use and of course lets you use your iTunes library. All the basics are available and the app even provides sampler so you can easily play or record sounds. There is also an effects panel with EQ and cue points.
The interface is amazing and really does show how easy it can be to make mixes on your phone. Definitely check this app out while it’s cheap. You won’t regret it.
