We have seen a few different types of golf games make their way through the App Store, from the more serious apps to the cartoon arcade-style. Whatever your preference, most people will agree that golf makes a fun video game. Flick Golf! is another golf app for the iPhone and iPod Touch that does away with buttons and instead encourages you to flick the ball into the hole.
At first, this seemed like a very inaccurate way to play, but then I realized why it worked. The game isn’t a true golf game and instead acts more like an arcade target practice. You flick the ball and then swipe your finger to add different spins and hopefully land it close to the hole or in. This is surprisingly addicting but there was one problem, the game is near impossible to beat.
Even the first level was an insane challenge to pass and left me wondering what the harder levels would be like. Still, the game is a great casual app and definitely worth it if you have some cash to spend on a new game. Check it out.
