Golfing games are all over the place in the App Store and thankfully there is a wide variety of styles to pick from. Super Stick Golf falls into more of the Scorched Earth category of gaming where you will line up a shot and use your calculations to get the ball to the hole.
The game is extremely simple but it definitely has the polish that one would hope for an iPhone game. The music is like something straight out of an original Nintendo system and really helps to create the fun, arcade atmosphere of the game.
In this iteration, you can spend balls on different power-ups that will help you in your games. There is a practice mode where you can try out the different holes, but in order to unlock new levels, you will need to make par for an entire course in the same session. The game is challenging and provides a large amount of entertainment for the price you’ll pay. Definitely check this one out. It was extremely addicting once I started playing.
